📘 Overview
This is the Bachelor of Arts programme at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, offered through its Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages. It spans social sciences and languages — Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Geography, Statistics, languages and translation studies — and uniquely admits students from both the Arts and Commerce streams. ✅ Entry Requirements
This programme admits students from either the Arts stream or the Commerce stream who meet the minimum university-admission requirements:
- At least Simple (S) passes in three subjects at the G.C.E. Advanced Level (in the Arts or Commerce stream)
- A majority (about 55%) of the seats are allocated to Arts-stream applicants, with the remainder allocated to Commerce-stream applicants
