The Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) is the foundation of the legal profession — a rigorous academic study of how laws are made, interpreted and applied. ⏳ Duration

This is a four-year LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) degree. To practise as an Attorney-at-Law, graduates sit the Final Examination at the Sri Lanka Law College, where LL.B holders are exempted from the Preliminary and Intermediate examinations.

✅ Entry Requirements

This degree is open to applicants from a wide range of A/L streams. To be eligible you must obtain at least Simple (S) passes in three eligible subjects at the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination — the eligible list spans arts, commerce, science and language subjects.

In addition, you need at least a Credit (C) pass in English at the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination, or at least an S pass in English at the A/L Examination.
