Minimum eligibility requirements for admission :
At least ‘S’ grades for one of the following combinations of subjects at the G.C.E.(Advanced Level) Examination.
(1). Biology, Chemistry, Physics
(2). Combined Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics

Students will be selected for one of the following specializations at the beginning of the third academic year.
Mineral Processing Technology
Degree Programme : Bachelor of Science Honours in Mineral Resources and Technology in Mineral Processing Technology [BScHons (MRT) (MPT)] Water Science and Technology
Degree Programme : Bachelor of Science Honours in Mineral Resources and Technology in Water Science and Technology [BScHons (MRT) (WST)]

In the final year all students should carry out an industrial training and a research relevant to their area of interest.
